Follow-Up Testing: A smarter way to gauge improvement

We’re excited to share our newest feature: Follow-Up Testing, designed to help you gain insight into your patient’s progress (and newly detected conditions), over time. For adult patients who have completed MindMetrix at least two months ago, you’ll now see a “Send a Follow-Up Test” button at the top of their record. 

This tool re-administers relevant rating scales so that you can get a clear picture of improvement across the symptom patterns relevant to your patient’s unique presentation. It can be re-administered as often as clinically appropriate (we recommend every 6–12 months).

With Follow-up Testing, you can strengthen documentation for treatment decisions, be sure you aren’t missing anything, and compare scores to the last test, making MindMetrix an even more powerful tool for longitudinal care.

Boost completion rates with customized emails

You can now personalize the emails that go out with your MindMetrix assessment invitations! 

Adding your own voice helps patients feel more connected and supported, leading to higher completion rates and greater satisfaction. 

Whether it’s a quick note of encouragement or specific instructions for the assessment completion, this small touch can make a big difference in patient engagement. Just click “Customize Email” when sending a new invite to get started.

Get the word out without lifting a finger

Timeframe visibility for each rating scale

We’ve added “Test Time Frames” to each condition’s detail page, giving you clearer insight into how to interpret results. 

Each test/rating scale now includes a reference window (e.g., past 2 weeks, past month), helping you better understand what the scores mean and what time period they reflect.

Your new ally in adolescent psychiatry

The MindMetrix Adolescent Assessment is now live for existing customers! Designed to support clinicians in navigating the complexities of diagnosing mental health conditions in teens, this unique tool combines self-reports from adolescents with collateral data from guardians, providing a more complete picture of teen mental health. 

It covers over 40 DSM-5 conditions and captures life factors that contribute to the full story, including substance use, academic concerns, and social-emotional history. 

The resulting report integrates both clinical insights and caregiver perspectives, helping providers distinguish between overlapping symptoms and deliver more accurate, informed care.
